What is a mission?
A mission is a practical real-life scenario where you practice Lithuanian with guided prompts and instant feedback.
What other practice modes are there?
There is an Open Conversation mode that lets you talk about anything with the AI.
Does it work on mobile and desktop?
Yes. Kalbukas works well on both mobile and desktop, so you can practice at home, at your desk, or on the go.
Can I practice writing as well as speaking?
Yes. You can practice both writing and speaking, and the AI helps with grammar, spelling, and more natural Lithuanian phrasing.
What should I do when I get stuck?
You can speak in your native language. The AI will understand, offer a Lithuanian way to say the same thing, and keep the conversation going.
What if I do not know what to say?
Kalbukas generates a couple of suggestions for what to say next. You can see how they are written and listen to the pronunciation before trying them yourself.
Can I track what I am learning?
Yes. Kalbukas helps you track your learning progress, including vocabulary you have learned and grammar rules you have encountered.
Do I need perfect pronunciation?
No. The app is designed for practice first. You can use the pronunciation guide and improve step by step.
Can I use Kalbukas as a beginner?
Yes. Missions are useful for beginners and intermediate learners because they focus on phrases you can use right away.
How is this different from Duolingo?
Duolingo does not currently offer Lithuanian. Kalbukas is built specifically for Lithuanian conversation practice: you can speak or write, get help with grammar and spelling, hear pronunciation, and practice real-life situations with AI.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the month you signed up for. There are no cancellation fees.
